Joining our Society
To join and show your support to the Lib Dems on campus you can join the University of Warwick Liberal Democrat society within the Students' Union. To join, click the title above.
To do this you will need to be a member of the Societies Federation, which is an esential to join any society. On joining the Societies Federation, membership of the University Lib Dem Society is just £2 for Standard Membership and £12 for Associates and others. You can join via the Students' Union Website shown above.
Joining the National Party
Joining the Warwick Uni Lib Dem society however, is only showing your support for the party and allows you to be kept in touch with email updates etc. To join the main party you will need to visit the national party website, which can be found here.
Membership rates are a minimum of £6 per year for Youth and Students ('youth' is classified as anyone under the age of 26 but mature students over the age of 26 can join at the student rate). This entitles members to membership of the main party and of Liberal Democrat Youth.
Membership of the main party will entitle you to a large number of benefits. Among these are:

Being able to attend party conferences

E-mail updates on the party

The option to subscribe to the party newspaper

Voting in leadership elections

Being able to stand or vote in elections for party Presidency
